Graphic Design 2 Webquest
Graphic Design is everywhere. We see graphic design in magazines, advertisements, product packaging, web design and many other places. Graphic designers may use typography, symbols, shapes, images and other elements and principles of design to create visual representation of ideas and messages. Explore the Graphic Design career through this Webquest and create a design using the same elements and principles as a graphic designer.
TASK: You need to research background information about being a Graphic Designer as well as looking at a business of your choice. You will be answering guided questions to help you with your research. When your research is complete, you will create an individualized logo for business you chose, applying the principles of a Graphic Designer.
Task 1 – Research
1. Go to the following sites and answer the following questions about the Graphic Design career. Type your answer in a Google Document. You will submit later. Questions will be graded for accuracy and depth of knowledge (how much you actually researched and quality of the answers provided). Answers should be 2-3 sentences each.

As a Graphic Designer, you are to create a logo for the business that you chose. Remember, your business must be a business that is already around. You are creating a NEW logo for that business. Now that you have chosen your business, begin creating your logo design. Be sure that your logo is unique and that it looks clean and professional. Color schemes are always a plus with logos.
